Shahnameh.

Shahnameh is the national epic of Iran ( original name Pars).
It was written more than 1000 years ago (10th century AD) by the Persian poet Ferdowsi, who compiled the 50000 couplets over a period of 30 years.
Zoharastrians or Parsees who fled to India centuries ago have managed to keep the Parsi culture from extinction.
Generation of Indians have grown up hearing the story of Zohrab and Rustom. Their names are carried by the Parsees from generation to generation.
