Ek Chadar Maili Si.
Directed by Sukhwant Dhadda, the film is an adaptation of Rajinder Singh Bedi’s classic Urdu novella by the same name. The novel won the 1965 Sahitya Akademi Award.
The 1986 film starred Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rishi Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon and Hema Malini in lead roles.
It was shot in the village Jandiala, Nurmahal railway station, Punjab and near Kangra in Himachal Pradesh.
It is known for the stellar performances by the lead cast and the cinematography by Shaji N. Karun.
