യുവാക്കളുടെ ധീരതയുടെയും ദേശാഭിമാനത്തിൻ്റെയും അനശ്വരപ്രതീകമാണ് വെറും 23 വയസിൽ ജീവൻ ബലികൊടുത്ത ഭഗത്ത് സിംഗ്.
ഭഗത് സിങ്ങിൻ്റെ ചിത്രം അഭിമാനത്തോടെ പേറുന്ന യുവജനസംഘടനകൾ ഉണ്ട്. അവയിലെ അംഗങ്ങൾ ഈ ധീരദേശാഭിമാനിയുടെ ജീവചരിത്രം വായിച്ച് കാണാൻ ഇടയില്ല.
രാഷ്ടീയക്കാർക്ക് മഹാത്മാഗാന്ധി പോലെ യുവാക്കൾക്ക് ഭഗത്ത് സിംഗും വെറും ബിംബങ്ങൾ മാത്രമായി മാറി.
മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ മുതലക്കണ്ണീർ ഒഴുക്കുന്ന പ്രിയ സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്ക് സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

ഒരു പാശ്ചാത്യ പണ്ഡിതൻ ശരിയായി പറഞ്ഞത് പോലെ:
രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാവി സ്വന്തം കയ്യിൽ കരുതുന്ന ഭാവി പൗരന്മാരാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ യുവതലമുറ. മുളയ്ക്കുകയും ഫലം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന വിത്തുകളാണവർ. ഇന്നത്തെ യുവാക്കളാണ് രാജ്യത്തിൻ്റെ ഭാവിഭാഗദേയം നിർണ്ണയിക്കുന്നത് എന്നാണ് അതിൻ്റെ അർഥം.
ഭാവി വിജയങ്ങളുടെ വിത്തുകളാണ് ചെറുപ്പക്കാർ”.

Youth and Sacrifice.
” If the sacrifice of blood is needed, who but a youth can give it?
Is it a youth who is shaper of the destiny of any community.
A western scholar has rightly said , ‘ It is an established truism that young men of today are the countrymen of tomorrow, holding in their hands the high destinies of the Land. They are the seeds that spring and bear fruit.
It means that youth of today is the maker of a country’s destiny. The young are the seeds of the success of the future”.
