Nehru who was groomed by Mahatma Gandhi to be the first Prime Minister of independent India, had the commitment and the stature to implement his ideals.
If only Congress leaders of the succeeding generations had the courage and will of Jawaharlal Nehru, the country would not have reached the depths as today.
