Earth, Millions of Years ago.
Earth and its Continents,
as we know today, was not the same, millions of years ago.
About 300-200 million years ago (late Paleozoic Era until the very late Triassic), the continent we now know as North America was contiguous with Africa, South America, and Europe, Australia, Antartica and parts of Asia.
All the continents then existed as a single continent called Pangea.
