Julius Caesar
by William Shakespeare.
The speech by Mark Antony , as written in the play by Shakespeare is precious to me as the first one memorised and delivered by me before the school assembly, as a young student of the AKJM School Kanjirapally, way back in the 1960s.
Brutus had persuaded his fellow Senators that the mighty ruler Ceaser need to be executed and was successful in carrying out his plot. However the one speech by Mark Antony was enough to turn the tables and the people were convinced to turn against the conspirators .
The immortal words are enough to prove that Shakespeare is the greatest playwright in history.
