Danger of Communalism.
Jawaharlal Nehru was one of the first to recognise the dangers of communalism in a diverse country like India.
The assassination of Mahatma Gandhi had temporarily put paid to the plans of the RSS, but the communal forces are in control just seven decades after independence.
Unity of the secular forces, which are still in the majority, is the need of the hour, the temptations of aligning with the ruling party not withstanding.
