Pod – style hotel is the latest in the segment.

NapTapGo is a pod-style hotel in Noida near New Delhi.
In a series of posts, travel blogger Soumya shared her experience. Somya opted for a capsule with a single bed with a mirror, manual and centralised locks, a panel with different settings and charging points, and an entertainment centre.

The color-changing mirror can be adjusted by finger touch and there are clean women-only washrooms in addition to common ones.
Somya thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Only one issue bothered her – the rooms are not soundproof.

A pod-style or capsule hotel that offers small, pod-like accommodations designed for solo travellers. The idea originated in Japan. These pods provide enough space for sleeping and necessities, focusing on efficiency and minimalism.

Pods are charged at an hourly rate with amenities such as – air conditioning, carpeted rooms, heating, safe, shared bathroom, bottle of water, towels, linens, TV, and ironing facilities. Private pods are priced around INR 1160 for a single person, while a private POD suite room can cost INR 1607 for a 15-hour stay.
Pod-style hotels have come up in cities like Mumbai and Bangalore also. The Mumbai hotel even provides you free coffee.
