Christopher Lee.
7 July is the death anniversary of the legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee (1922-2015).
Lee is best remembered as the vampire Count Dracula. He played Dracula 12 times.
He had earlier served as an intelligence officer in the Royal Airforce in World War II.
Lee, who acted in 280 movies, created a Guinness record as the most cited actor on the screen. He was the only actor of ‘Lord of the Rings’, who had actually met the author Tolkien.
Lee was fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Swedish, Russian and Greek.
Christopher Lee released the song “Let legend Mark Me as the King,” making him probably the oldest heavy metal singer ever, at age 90.
Christopher Lee was knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2009.
Christopher Lee died at the age of 90. His wife was the Danish painter and former model Birgit Gitte.
