Gettysburg Address
1 July 1863 is the day the Gettysburg battle began in the American Civil War.
More than the battle, Gettysburg is remembered for the historic speech delivered by President Abraham Lincoln on 19 November 1863.
It’s considered one of the greatest orations ever made in history.
