World Refugee Day
20 June is World Refugee Day.
One of the questions, according to the Bible , the Lord will ask you on judgement day is:
“I came to your house as a stranger, but you didn’t welcome me”.
Refusing the one in need because you want to protect yourself, especially when the other is in desperate need and obvious danger, is not what humanity is about.
It’s about the opposite. It’s about helping the stranger, even if it carries some risk.
