SCHOOL BUS.
St. Mary’s School Mumbai was the first to introduce a school bus for its students in 1928.
The school was founded in 1864 by the catholic congratulation, the Jesuits ( Society of Jesus). The building was constructed adjacent to the St. Anne’s Church in Mazagaon which was established in 1860.
It began as a Catholic school of education as well as a military orphanage.
Later the school opened its doors to students of all religions and communities.
